We stopped briefly in Moulay Idriss, Morocco's most sacred city. We did not hang around partially because non muslims are forbidden from spending the night. You can visit, but don't bother unpacking your sleeping bag, infidels. This particular image is of a shrine to the founder of...something important in Moroccan history. The bar is there so that muslims can duck under but non muslims are reminded that they can't enter. Sheesh, we can't wander around your shrine, we can't spend the night in the town...the temerity of asking us to buy your little souvenirs! Honestly, where's the love?
