Yangon International Airport

Yangon International Airport (Burmese: ; MLCTS: ran kun a. prany prany hcuing ra le hcip.) (IATA: RGN, ICAO: VYYY) is primary international airport of Myanmar and is located in Mingaladon Township, Yangon. The airport was built in 1947 by the Calcutta Metropolitan Airports Authority. At the time of the built, the airport was regarded as the best in South East Asia. The government began renovation and addition of a new terminal in 2005, which is expected to finish early-2007.
