Wuxi (Simplified Chinese: ; Traditional Chinese: ; pinyin: Wxi; former spellings: Wu-hsi, Wuhsi, or Wusih; lit. "Without Tin") is an old industrial city in Jiangsu province, People's Republic of China. Split into halves by Lake Taihu, Wuxi borders Changzhou to the west and Suzhou to the east. The northern half looks across to Taizhou to the north over the Yangtze River, while the southern half also borders the province of Zhejiang to the south. Because of its recent development, Wuxi has been dubbed the "little Shanghai".

- Garden of Ecstacy (Ji Chang Yuan) one of the leading gardens in SE China and Emperor Qianlong, who made seven visits, had a copy made of the garden at the Summer Palace in Beijing

There have been a lot of construction going on in China. So it was not total surprise when our bus stopped at the red light at city of Wu Xi ( No Tin), a truck with construction workers on it stopped next to our bus. I liked the red hats and the natural expressions caught on camera. Only a couple of them noticed me.
