The finest existing example of San Francisco Stick Style of Victorian Architecture in San Francisco California. Note added August 2008: The San Francisco YWCA contacted me a few months ago and asked if they could use this photo for an invitation. They were hosting an event in the house. I told them absolutely. Then they said thew would like me to attend! Yay, I finally got inside. Thank you YWCA! It is truly amazing. I took a lot of interior shots but haven't gone through them yet.

i leave san francisco for good in about a week. i am off travelling for a few months and will eventually land in chicago sometime in late april. flickr, however, does not go away, i just get a new city to shoot. one of the things i will miss most about SF is days like today (75 and clear) and mornings like this picture. this pic was taken around 5:30 AM on am incredible may morning... (thanks to mark farina for the title)

There are probably a million pictures of this view on flickr, but I am just madly in love with this city, and the neighborhood around Alamo Square is definitely one of the most incredible places. I can't get enough of these beautiful houses, so I'm posting it :-).
