The Taman Ujung or Ujung Water Palace was also named as Taman Soekasada was built in 1919 and constracted by the late King of Karangasem, I Gusti Bagus Jelantik. This palace was built to welcome and serve important guests and Kings from other country. Taman Soekasada Ujung lies at Tumbu village, Karangasem district, about 85 km from Airport Denpasar and 5 km from Amlapura. It was badly damaged by the eruption of Mount Agung in 1963 and the Seririt Earthquake in 1976. It was restored in 1998 and 2002.

Built by Karengasem king in 1919, this palace is destroyed in 1963 by the eruption of Gunung Agung. You can still visit the restorated site indentically and old preserved parts.
