Votivkirche Wien in der späten Dämmerung. Errichtet wurde diese im neugotischen Stil erbaute Kirche zum Dank, dass ein Attentat auf Kaiser Franz Joseph I. im Jahre 1853 scheiterte (!). Dies ist auch im inneren deutlich erkennbar, dort ist der Hang zum Militarismus und Patriotismus nicht zu übersehen. - - - - - - - - - - Votiv-Church Vienna in late dusk. This curch in Neo-Gothic style was built after a failed assassination attempt on Emperor Franz Joseph I (!) in 1853 to thank God for the rescue of the Emperor. This also can be seen in the interrior of the church which is full of patriotistic and militaristic symbols.
