Vir Savarkar Airport
Vir Savarkar Airport or Port Blair Airport (IATA: IXZ, ICAO: VOPB) is an airport located in Port Blair, on the Andaman Islands of India. It is named after the Indian freedom fighter Vir Savarkar. Airlines that fly to this airport include Indian and Jet Airways. An interesting feature of this airport is that the take off strip is shorter than conventional ones. In fact, if the plane doesn't gather enough speed during a take off, then he has to try again.
