We took a 2 1/2-hour ride on the Victoria Clipper ferry from Victoria to Seattle for the next leg of our trip. We stayed in Seattle overnight, then rented a car first thing the next morning. After our obligatory stop at the Elliott Bay Book Company, we headed south to Portland.

The Trek organizers chartered The Victoria Clipper- a high-speed ferry- to take us back to Seattle. It took about 3 hours to make it back . We passed the time talking with some of the other riders we met throughout the past few days, and enjoyed a slideshow presented by the Trek's official photographer (he had pictures available already!)
