From this angle, you can really see how high the towers are getting. The development isn't merely vast- but also amazingly tall! The first slightly blue day in quite some time! View from the west. Unfortunately, I've had to start watermarking my images, as it seems there are many uncredited copies floating around- some even with other Websites' URL on it. If you'd like to use my images, by all means, just ask.

Roadworks In China
Made by China Chas
Ad-hoc road maintenance on the Third Ring Road in Beijing. In Britain, they would cone off two lanes for three miles to do this. He appeared to be bashing the hell out of this manhole cover. Not sure why. The yellow van is actually giving him some protection from the moving traffic.

With the Olympics over, it shouldn't be a surprise that I'm going to post some photos of this thing again. The new China Central Television Headquarters (CCTV) building, from the west. As you can see from the reflection, I was using a bloody powerful flashgun for this one.

We were waiting for the car which took us to the Great Wall. It's 7:00 a.m. That trousers-like architecture is the new address of China Center Television.
