During the local market some weeks ago, I noticed this young woman who was preparing to collect her beautiful long red hair. Our eyes met over a distance of 5-6 meters and I lifted my camera with a questioning gesture, if I was allowed to take a couple of pictures of her. She smiled back and I was lucky to get this one shot. Immediately after she looked at her watch and ran away with a gesture that gave me the impression that she would be back again soon. I waited for some time and took some other shots, but after more than one hour, I still couldn't find her, and still to day after some weeks I haven't seen her around, so here is the image, but without a name - pity ! #49 in my 100 strangers project, find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at: www.100Strangers.com.

DMV in Denmark -> 100 Meter Project @ Galore 2011 18th - 20th August 2011 Da Mental Vaporz (France) - Blo, Bom.k, Brusk, Dran, Gris, Jaw, Kan, Sowat Dreyk The Pirate (Greece), Erosie (Netherlands), Graphic Surgery (Netherlands), Grito (Spain), Lints (Denmark), Ripo (USA), Roa (Belgium), Scie (Ireland) ---- So, the idea of this wall was planned a couple of months ago... We painted it at the Galore 2011 festival in copenhagen, and on the next Monday when we came back to France, we discover that actually some guys are really stealing and selling pieces of walls as street art. P5, Brøndby kommunes Indsatslederbil, hver kommue i Vestegnens område skal stille med deres egen Indsatslederbil ifølge kontakten mellem kommunerne og Vestegnens I/S. Taget da Station Hvidovre var på besøg hos Københavns Brandvæsen, station Dæmningen. Brøndbys officer car, every municipal/council that's covered by the Western CPH FRS has to provide one officer car. It's fairly plain looking, with that special 3M reflective tape that's great for unmarked police vehicles. Taken at CPH FRS station Dæmningen where the ISL, pump and ladder from Hvidovre were attending a meeting. One of the few, if not the only Western vehicle to not be sporting a Vision/VisionPoint lightbar

Katrine is a neighbor of mine, she is born in 1909 and celebrated her 102nd birthday in May this year and she is still in her own home where she has been living since 1941. She is still a very active person and is mentaly sharp as a razor, and it took a bit of persuation from my side before she accepted my wish to photograph her. Katrine does not like portraits where people are smiling too much and she is of the opinion that it looks stupid, - this is the closest she could accept. Katrine was born on 14-05-1909, photographed on 09-06-2011 and died four days later on 13-06-2011 after a fall in her home.
Blue Poison Dart Frogs

Blue poison dart frogs (Dendrobates azureus). While this particular species is toxic and is called a poison dart frog, they are not actually much use in war or hunting (some other frogs, and the plant poison Curare, are much better!) They are just poisonous enough to paralyze (sometimes fatally) predators stupid enough to eat them. In captivity their toxin levels are low. This is because they need to eat their favorite bugs to be able to secrete the poison - and outside their natural environment these bugs are not available.

I have a subfolder in my images folder which I call creative. Essentially, anything that gets messed around with in photoshop, apart from levels and the like of course, ends up in this folder. As a person I'm probably as creative in CS2 as a chimpansee - although, statistically speaking, I've heard that if you give chimpansees enough time and some typewriters, they will eventually compose a great litterary work. Every now and again a bright idea will appear from out of nowhere but recently all I'm getting is maybe this will look better with a frame?. So far I think the chimps are ahead of me...

Taken on a beautiful day in the Copenhagen Zoo. This is the boy cub catching his breath after teasing his twin sister. They were, for some reason, fighting over 2 pools of water. Or that is, he was trying to drink from ever wich pool she was drinking from, and she didn't like that. So although he looks sad and miserable on the photo, I can assure you, he was having the time of his life, running around and playing.

Emerald Swallowtail (Papilio palinurus) Pretty - and because of the motion blur from the flapping wings, I think it is not too boring. I'm also glad the green butterfly chose a red flower to flutter about on - this brings a much needed dash of color.
