A view from Uunisaari towards the sea. The winter is slowly coming to Helsinki and yesterday we had her almost at her best - coldish weather, no clouds in the sky and a thin layer of snow in the ground. Uunisaari is a small island right next to the shore. In the summertime you can do some sunbathing in the beach while in the winter it's just a nice little walk and maybe a cup of hot chocolate at the cafe.
A small channel

This is a small channel near the bridge between islands Uunisaari and Liuskasaari, in Gulf of Finland. The channel is ~2.5 meters wide. The picture was taken just before sundown, causing the red colour. The small pieces of ice were flowing back and forth.
Tug boat

If you look closer, you'll notice that the left side boat is attached to the right one with ropes, so it is actually been tugged.
