The month of March was tough. I quit my job at Glade Run after some pretty rough things happened to me there. My last day there, my Dad went into the ER for the second time of what would become around 7 trips to the ER during March. He was in extreme pain in his abdomen, flushing, headach, vomiting etc. The only thing that gave him relief was Dilaudid (for pain) and Zofran(for nausea). Finally on the 28th they hospitalized him. The stay ended up being two weeks, where they couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. They entire saga is recorded here. This is the board that was in his hospital room. Some kind notes from the family. I missed a later pic where Abbie, Eatai and Todd included their equally sympathetic notes! What they diagnosed his with is a rare disease of the blood called Acute Intermittent Porphyria. NOW the only doctor in the Pittsburgh area that will see him, thinks that he doesn't have it. More tests. At lease he's not in pain anymore.
