Well, I threw in even MORE control points around the problem area and a miracle happened! But I'll still stand by my original assertion that short focal lengths are hard to stitch together. And always go over you panoramas carefully looking for problems. Original post: How not to panoramize, part 1 The poor poor-man's fish eye? Starting with two 19 mm (38 mm in 35mm terms) images the windows at the left side just wouldn't align. I sprinkled control points all around them and the misalignment just moved around. It's like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube. I finally got tired of messing with it, so I won't say for sure it wouldn't work eventually. The moral: The shorter the focal length, the harder it is to align multiple images into a rectilinear image. Circular polarizing filter. Created with Hugin.
