One United Nations Plaza, on the corner of East 44th Street and 1st Avenue, is a 505-foot, 39-floor high-rise building completed in 1975 to the design of Kevin Roche and John Dinkeloo of Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo & Associates LLC. The lower lowers are office space, with a hotel serving the 28th through 39th floor. , just to the west on East 44th Street, was also designed by Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo & Associates LLC and also stands 505-feet and 39 floor high. Even though from some angles it appears to be part of One United Nations Plaza, it was actually constructed 6 years later in 1981.
