I am so behind on posting photos. Windows decided to take a crap after installing Service Pack 3, so I had to reinstall Windows, but didn't have time until just recently. I have a ton of photos to post, but am too tired to work on them right now as I am dying from jet lag. Maybe I will work on them in the morning when I wake up tomorrow. Anyway, Pitchfork was really good this year except it being super hot and the rule that you couldn't bring in any kind of SLR camera, but tons of people without press passes had them anyway. : / Seeing Animal Collective was amazing. I made a video from their performance. Check it out.

The majority of my Pitchfork Music Festival photos from the first day of the festival ended up being converted to black and white due to the sunlight. This one just absolutely needed to stay in color. And I just had to post it first because it goes along well with another shot I posted recently from the Stevie Wonder concert entitled . It's a very similar photo in composition but it definitely has a more wild indie feel as opposed to the more staid one from Stevie. Which I guess makes sense comparing the two concerts and their intended audiences.

It was wicked hot outside, and like most people these kids just relaxed under a tree and smoked. I snuck this shot using my rotateable screen bent so I could take the shot without turning around to be obvious. I like the results.
