The sun was directly in front of me, but the view was too good to pass up, so I set my camera on a post and took 5 shots for HDR processing later. I tried for as natural a process as possible, but I couldn't eliminate the halo around the tree in the foreground. After the HDR processing, I upped the saturation of the reds and green and changed the tint of the highlights towards the yellow to give it that golden sheen.
