1 km east of Türkistan (Turkestan) train station, there's a train cemetery with a lot of dead elektrichki (commuter trains) and even some locomotives. Nice decay site... See also the photos of a similar in Mendoza, Argentina
Türkistan (Kazakhstan) - Yassawi Mausoleum

Cupola of the Yassawi Mausoleum in Türkistan (Turkestan). The mausoleum has been built between 1397 and ca. 1600 and still looks unfinished. However, the minor cupola presents fine tilework.

unfortunately I didn't get any closer to camels in Kazakhstan then this, and I'm zoomed in all the way (10x, or 300mm equiv. for 35mm film). I didn't even get to eat camel :(
