Tomsk (Russian: Tomsk) is a city on the Tom River in the southwest of Siberian Federal District, Russia, the administrative centre of Tomsk Oblast. It is located about twenty kilometres south-east of the town of Seversk, a major centre of plutonium production and reprocessing and uranium enrichment in Russia. One of the oldest towns in Siberia, Tomsk celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2004. Population: 487,838 (2002 Census). It is served by Bogashevo Airport.

After three years I visited Tomsk again. The last day of my stay I found new comment to my old pinhole of Tomsk railway station. It made me to go and see the place again. I tried to reduplicate my shot from 2007; I had the same camera (Tchibo coffee tin box) with me. The light conditions were different and I also did not find exactly the same POV. …

I had the pleasure to see Tomsk again. Inspired by others (wOLD, I think) I looked especially for Tverskaya Street this time and found this real gem of old Russian wooden architecture. I wonder how long this house will be seen there. It was taken with my OO-Long Tea tin box, x-ray Medix XG sheet film 10x15cm. Exp. about 4 sec.

This shot was done to test if the camera operate well in cold condition - temperature is about -35°C. And only then I suddenly dicover that the truck is labeled Ice-cream... Well, frost is not the reason to stop enjoying by ice-cream for strong Siberian people =)
