Crane & Office

One of the two Harland & Wolff cranes, Samson & Goliath, which rise 100 meters over what was the 6th largest dry dock in the world. They were constructed in 1974 and 1969 respectively. The building is the rear of the Harland & Wolff offices, and the concrete in the foreground is the end of one of the slipways at which Titanic was built.

This is a metal panel at the top of the slipway, on which Titanic was built. She would later be launched into the River Lagan, and towed to Thompson Graving Dock for final fit out.
