Watch it LARGE! Today the weather was much more friendly for sunset pictures....Unfortunately so was I to a lot of mosquitoes.....which have been feeding on me while I had to stand still for long exposures. Two days ago I took the same shot and I had to HDR process it to show it. This is all natural light...I upped the levels a bit and cleaned some dust spots (I desperately need to clean my sensor any time soon!).... Please watch it large! It was a really dull and grey day here in Hong Kong. I decided to do some location scouting while waiting for perfect light conditions to do the bridges. Tried different lenses at different viewpoints, shooting from all angles. When I came home the pics were as expected...grey, grey and grey.......but at least I was happy with a few compositions...... Just for fun I tried a B&W conversion and when I was juggling the levels suddenly the sky became a little bit alive...which made me decide to do yet another single frame HDR processing and tonemapping..... I like the result, I hope you do too.....

Best viewed large! I think by now most of the frequent visitors will know, that I like this bridge very much. This picture is very much the same story as the previous picture. Only HDR technique was able to create an interesting image shot on a dull and grey day. I am eagerly awaiting better light conditions to redo this shot.....but I do like this result nevertheless!
