About 14 months ago I took a photo of this church ceiling for the first time. Yesterday a chance came up on me to revisit the location, albeit without a tripod this time around. Last years result: Camera: Canon EOS 7D Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60) Aperture: f/5.0 Focal Length: 24 mm Exposure: +0.55 ISO Speed: 1600 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: Off, Did not fire Lens: EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM Post Processing: RAW development, straightened (3°) and cropping (very minor), emphasis on gold/yellow tones, more light on the corners which had indecent lightning in the church and some Noiseware Professional.

Just walked randomly in the town of Munich, entered in a church, visited a place, discovered a very few treasures of it. Cant wait for next sunday to wear one more time the tourist suit, camera in the hand looking everywhere stopping in the middle of the street, creating traffic jams, take time when I have so little of it. As we said as a child, later I ll be a holidayer (?), a professionnal traveller, if only what we thought of life as a child was real, then I wont be right now wondering what am I going to do tomorrow!!!

En el lado oeste de Odeonsplatz se alza esta iglesia que por la fachada bien podría ser una iglesia mexicana. Fue construída entre 1663 y 1690 en un estilo italiano altamente barroco, tomando como modelo la iglesia romana de San Andrea del ValleEl arquitecto italiano Agostino Barelli la diseñó, pero fue su sucesor, Enrico Zuccalli, quien agregó las torres y el domo de 71 metros de alto en 1690. The Theatinerkirche in Munich was built from 1663 to 1690. It was designed by the Italian architect Agostino Barelli (1627-1687) and completed by the Swiss architect Enrico Zuccalli (c.1642-1724) in the style of the Italian High Baroque. The rich stucco decorations were done by Nicolo Petri. Wolfgang Leutner created the stucco figures.

I really like how the Theatine Church in Munich looks. So white and bright, it's very beautiful. Not really that happy with this HDR as I had no tripod, and had to use higher iso setting :(. Not as sharp as I would like. HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, handheld.

an diesem traumwagen konnte ich nicht einfach vorbeigehen, und durchs schaufenster wollte ich ihn auch nicht unbedingt ablichten. glücklicherweise war die dame an der rezeption sehr freundlich! eine probefahrt hat sie mir allerdings nicht angeboten;-)
