The view to the North from the 16th floor at the Calgary Westin. Eau Claire is in the middle of the photo (with the Odeon cinema complex) and behind it is the Bow River. Unfortunately there is no view of the Rockies from this room.

January 2008. Calgary has a network of walkways (the plus-15, as in 15 feet above road surface) like Minneapolis, allowing pedestrians to walk across town without stepping outside. At right the white tower is Shell Canada.
