Ivy League Banners
Made by kevinmcguire
The Palestra is the home of the Penn Quakers. Often times teams like St. Joe's will play home games here for crowds that I suppose are expected to be too much for St. Joe's arena to hold. Penn State, though not known for their basketball program, will still draw well in Pennsylvania so this must have been one of those games. These are the banners though for the members of the Ivy League.

St. Joe's - 79, Penn State - 67

It really wasn't even that close in the second half. Penn State put together some junk shots near the end of the game against St. Joe's backups. But it was an entertaining game regardless of the outcome. My first experience at the Palestra was a fun one. I would definitely go again and I'm sure someday I will.

Mom and Dad (and Mr. Czap too!)
Made by kevinmcguire
My parents and the Czaps were sitting a couple sections off to our left, more behind the court than we were. Not shown is Mrs. Czap, who misread her ticket apparently and seated herself about 10 rows in front and another 10 seats to the left of them.

St. Joe's Student Section

If you compare this with the photo of the Penn State student section, PSU didn't compare. Of course, this was a home game for St. Joe's.
