Een karakteristieke plek in Dordrecht is het Groothoofd, de versterkte aanlegplaats in het noorden van de stad waar drie rivieren samenkomen: de Oude Maas, de Noord en de Merwede. De in de vijftiende eeuw gebouwde Groothoofdspoort was de belangrijkste entree tot de stad en is nog steeds te bewonderen.

Marco on the old bridge in the former harbour of Dordrecht. The building behind him is one of the many storagehouses around the harbour. This one was build in 1658! (as it says right above Marco´s head)

Nice old bridge over the canal in Dordrecht. It´s blocked for cars and trucks, because they can´t swim!
