All in the name of research I rented the 1974 Sci-Fi sex spoof Flesh Gordon (top) knowing that there was some L.A locations to track down. Lucky for me, I already had photos on file of this location that I recognized. The Emperor Wang's castle on the planet Porno was modeled after the Griffith Observatory so the producers were able to use the observatory's exterior for some shots.
