The first Hard Rock Cafe (HRC) opened its doors to the public on June 14, 1971, in London, England. Founded by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton, two enterprising and music-loving Americans, HRC was an instant classic, attracting droves of customers with its first-rate, but moderately priced, casual American fare, warm service and ever-present rock 'n' roll music and sensibility. Although it was initially decorated with an eye toward eclectic Americana, HRC has ultimately become the world's leading collector and exhibitors of rock 'n' roll memorabilia. I love the Hard Rock Cafe and whenever I get the change to visit one on one of my travels I always do and buy either shirts, sweaters, hats or whatever. Years going by I now have a huge collection and visited a whole lot of the HRC's worldwide.

I like this idea. The Icon Factory is using the lesser known parts of Temple Bar as an outdoor art gallery so I suppose that the work on display could be classified as Street Art The display, which begins around the corner from the Palace Bar tells the story of the evolution of Irish culture during the 20th Century as you walk through the side streets and lane-ways of Temple Bar. The images were produced by a number of local artists, members of the Icon Factory co-operative and other art groups. Each artist selected a popular Irish individual whom they considered made a contribution to the evolution of Irish culture over the past hundred years or so.

What the hell is a One Direction and why should it make young girls hurt my ears? This is probably the first time I'll say check the map for this. So myself and Sean were walking along Westmoreland Street(That's the one right of this shot that meets the bridge) and we hear screaming so we(Really Sean) figured we should check it out. Came to this gaggle of young screaming fans. I can't believe the sound they made, it hurt my teeth. The group One Direction or 1D from xFactor were staying in the hotel here and would come to the window for the girls to scream at.

We eventually deciphered that Dublin is divided into numbered zones, and the number on the right is the zone. But as far as I can tell, this sign is wrong... Fleet Street here isn't in Dublin 8, it's Dublin 2, and -maybe- 4, but 8's on the other side of Temple Bar.
