Sab shaam se bidaktay hain. Andheray se dartay hain. Anhoni... andekhi...ankahi se sab ke hont sookhtay hain. Kisi aashna ka chehra, kisi mehboob ka lams, kisi dost ki gham aashna aankhein, kisi bachche ki khuli baanhein, kisi aurat ke dheelay qadmon ki chaap, brake lagnay ki awaz, kisi stand par cycle kharhi karne ka shor.... bulaanay bithaanay qareeb honay ki gharhi.. ye sab kuch aur iss se siwa aur buhat kuch..... ye sab shaam ko ujaalnay ka amal hai... kyunki shaam raat se zyada ghamgeen hoti hai. Jab itna andhera nahin hota ke sab kuch chhup jaye, aisay nazar nahin aata jaisay din ko sab kuch dikhayi deta hai.... saaray manazir aisay mein yun lagtay hain jaisay baarish khirhki par parh rahi hai aur aap doosri manzil ki khirhki se dekhein ke aapka raqeeb chhatri khol kar aap ki mehbooba ko baarish se bachata le jaraha hai... kabhi ye shuba ho ke ye aapka raqeeb nahin hai kabhi aapko gumaan guzray ke ye aapki mehbooba nahin ho sakti. Shaam khauf aur gumaan se bhari chali aati hai. (Extract from Raja Gidh)

Aur insaan azal se abad tak phailay huay Khuda ke saamnay khaufzada khada bilbila bilbila kar kehta hai : Ya Baari Ta'lla! teray jahan mein aarzooein itni der se kyun poori hoti hain? zindagi ke bazaar mein har khushi smuggle hokar kyun aati hai? iss ka bhao is qadar tez kyun hota hai ke har khareedar isse khareednay se Qaasir nazar aata hai? Har khushi ki Qeemat itnay dher saaray aansouon ko kyun ada karna parhti hai. Aqaay-e-do jahan aisay kyun hota hai ke jab baala aakhir khushi ka bundle haath mein aata bhi hai tou iss bundle ko dekh kar insaan mehsoos karta hai dukaandaar ne issay thag liya hai.... Jo iltija ki arzi tujh tak jaati hai uss par 'urgent' likha hota hai aur jo mohar tere farishte lagatay hain iss par chaaron taraf 'sabar' ka daira nazar aata hai. aisa kyun hota hai Baari Ta'lla. সব রোগ-শোক, জরা-ভ্রষ্টতা নিয়া পালা তাড়াতাড়ি...পাখা গজাইসোস কি ফাউ কামে ? A long time ago, in a land (not) far far away...a saint is said to have come to spread the religion of peace. That he did, and like all religious conquest his was also bloody, inevitably marked by manslaughter. Despite all that, the great saint could've never imagined neither wanted the commercial fame and franchises built upon his teachings/preachings. Then again, how can a belief proliferate without it's own, unique mode of rhetorics? আমিও উড়ুম একদিন, পাখা ছাড়াই উড়ুম। Dargah of Hazrat Shah Jalal Yamani (R) Sylhet, Bangladesh.

Runaway train... never coming back

Runaway train... never coming back
Made by Neerod [ www.colorandlightphotography.com ]
Lawwachare Reserve forest, Sri-mongol, Sylhet. Somehow I find myself back again in this enchanted land. Like a tie that cannot be severed. The tracks with the fallen leaves are treaded by locomotives everyday but still the they seem so old and broken. Maybe its high time i booked my tickets on a runaway train... ----------------------------------------------- Bought a ticket for a runaway train Like a madman laughin' at the rain Little out of touch, little insane Just easier than dealing with the pain- Runaway train never going back Wrong way on a one way track Seems like I should be getting somewhere Somehow I'm neither here no there- /Soul Asylum [Explored # 306]

Dedicated to all these unfortunate Child labor in the May Day (International Workers' Day). Bangladesh – a country where child labor is used more than anywhere else. child labor in Bangladesh is more than 12 percent of the total labor force. The exploitation of child labor in most cases due to the fact that even those parents who wish to send their children to school, often can not afford it. As a result, children are sent to work in fields, factories and even in the mines. They work 12 hours a day and receive for their work only 100 taka ($ 1.5) per day. Stop Child labor

Beautiful and graceful, varied and enchanting, small but approachable, butterflies lead you to the sunny side of life. And everyone deserves a little sunshine. ~ Jeffrey Glassberg ------------------------------------------------------- P.S. I had already posted this butterfly snap couple of months ago. Lets see how it looks in a little bit selective processing.... (I'm spending too much busy moments in boring official tasks, so I will visit your streams as soon as I get back... I wonder what was going through her mind. Stuck in a perimeter where “freedom” can hardly be defined, this girl definitely finds difficulties in unfolding the secret scopes of life. Social, financial obstacles are decorated in her path, making her vulnerable to witness the darker side of life. There are paths leading her to success and freedom, but still she is fenced by social norms. Her eyes say that she wants to break free! Who knows, she might be able to do that! Best of luck for her!

Jisan, a shy kid hopping around in the sandy beach of the river Saari, was spotted by me and my cousins as he was collecting pebbles and stones from the water. Being asked to be snapped, the cute lil fellow gave me some quick poses despite being shy and grateful of the fact that we werent behaving harshly with him. And yes, he is one of those other kids, who dont have access to schools or any education, rather living their lives as the time flies by. Place: Sylhet, Bangladesh

Don't be fooled by the scenic beauty -the blue expansive sky, rising hills and vast water reflecting the setting sun. This group standing in the water are not here to enjoy the beauty of divine proportion. They are collecting huge blocks of stone and hauling them up to the boat. These stones will then be transported by big trucks all across Bangladesh. Indeed a massive portion of the stones collected from Sunamgonj goes to Dhaka, Khulna and Chittagong.

After one and half days of rain, the thirty four pictographers of Through the lens safari team got what they came here (Tanguar Haor, Sunamgonj) for - a mega-canvas painted with gold, red, yellow, blue and all shades of it. The reflection on the water was amazing. Personally I was lost in the beauty of it. Thanks Shudipto da, for taking the initiative. Thanks to all TTL members and guests - an amazing trip with extraordinary people :) [EXPLORED#156]

The parallel rails tells a story. If we could only listen, forever turning, twisting, bending at corners....the never-ending cycle of life continues on and on. With illusions of meeting at the distant view point. I love the way the rails give a single point start at the far end of the compo. And a child is sitting over there -playing. The slight s curve of the rail is my favorite! Guess I am in love with all things related to rails and trains :)

At first the boat man brings the stones from the river and bring it to the edge. Here, a group of people break the stone & deliver them for further processing. They really work hard in a chaotic environment. A really hard working labor is working hard to break the stones that comes from the river. After 4 to 5 strokes he manages to convinced the stones to break apart Its a replacement of my last post
