I have a camera with me most of the the time - but not a tripod! I took this by setting the self timer and then pressing the camera against the window on the 96th floor of the John Hancock building!! It was minus 15 outside and the clarity of air made the scene even more spectacular than usual Added to Cream of the Crop as my most interesting photo (although oddly no where near the highest ranked on Explorer, of my shots). Chicago's skyline taken from the observatory of the John Hancock Center. Probably most notable is the Sears Tower (black building right of center). I really like the Sears. It's a unique looking building, and has a beauty all it's own. I had to take this shot behind glass in the observatory so there were a lot of reflections in the shot. Thanks to for doing an amazing job cleaning them up for me.

This is a Long Photograph (90 seconds) that I call a fluid still. I have been working on this type of image since the 1990's. I like the challenge of creating even longer pieces - 2 hours or more in length. This is a 2008 skyline of the new Trump Tower, Park Hyatt and of course the Sears Tower.There is no audio with this image. The Ambient Video Movement has begun!

Downtown from the Hancock Tower, wide. I love the way the sky changes across the scene as well as the 3rd dimension showing the depth of the city itself, especially contrasting to Lake Michigan on the left.
