Panorama at the Big Game 2007. Stanford beat Cal, you should know, 20-13, in what was actually a very exciting game. The new stadium looks pretty good, and fans are much closer to the sporting business, though I still like the old one better, with its rickity wooden stands and miniature bathroom fixtures. Lots of paper airplanes from the card stunt

People were bored by the game and the next most exciting thing to do was to make paper airplanes out of the card stunt paper. Random cheering would happen as an airplane would land on the field. I'm pretty sure the ground staff was pretty pissed off.

The new stadium is sort of octagonal, with about half as many seats as the old one. On the plus side, it actually has seats (as opposed to bare aluminum benches), and, most importantly, new bathrooms.
