This is an East-facing shot of one of the pathways at Airport Park on Sea Island in Richmond, British Columbia where YVR (Vancouver International Airport) is situated. Airport Park is located on the southeast corner of the Airport on Airport Rd and Russ Baker Way in Richmond. The park's pathways resemble a miniature version of the airports runways.

Looking down the runway at YVR I managed to get a few shots like this one. Got to buy a bigger lens for next time and make sure that I am perfectly in alignment with the runway lights so I get perfect perspective instead of this slightly skewed angle. Still happy with it but will lean from this first attempt at a plane taking off.

Taken today with the work video camer. I was experimenting with our Canon D-10.Hummmmm...sounds like a airplane name. The light in the plane is particlularly bright I edited the photo for effect. If your ever in Richmond go to the end of the runway and if you like planes you'll have a blast!!

[21/365] This is BCIT's Aerospace Technology Campus, the facility for their aerospace/aviation program. I like how bright and open the building is at night. I expect I would not like being *in* the building at night, however, for exactly that reason.

After the sun had gone down at YVR and I was returning to my car I figured I'd snap a few with the few remaining rays of light that were still available. I'm reasonably happy with the results although the hood is a bit dark.

After messing up this shot, I spent an hour waiting for another plane to come in on this runway, while the sky turned black and I got cold, before giving up. I'll try again another day.
