One of the most popular bars for students from the early to mid nineties. Also the first time I saw the Springbok Nude Girls live around 1994, when they were still a proper band. The club was rather large and featured two sections, the one on the left was known as shit I forget the name, will remember later and used to play heavier, darker music (I remember hearing NIN's Animal for the first time here). A friend of mine painted those green alien heads on the dance floor. The right side had a techno floor (and a chill room with wetsuit off cuts (popular for broken bottles) and a restaurant (they also threw a lot of beach parties- remember those?). Many, many weird memories, including watching a black Beetle, with Stealth Bomber written on the back, charge into and over another car in the parking lot (right in front of us). Also had an INCREDIBLE Matric after party here.
