- Camera phone upload powered by ShoZu Drove into a courtyard just between Merikatu and Pohjoisranta and there sitting in the snow was WWII tank. Also in the yard were very many heavy artillary guns, I had the strangest feeling of what it would be like to wake up one morning to find tanks in the streets and the squares. I have never experienced it but in the past it has happened in the streets of Hungary and Czeckoslovakia, and more recently in Burma and Thailand, and who can forget the tanks in Tiananmen Square, Beijing China. Even a rusted relic from the past sitting silently in the snow evoked the feeling that peace freedom, and independence are values to be cherished by all people in all nations.
