Slovenj Gradec
Slovenj Gradec (German: Windischgrätz, which means Slovenian Graz) is a small city and a municipality in the Koroska region of northern Slovenia, only a few kilometers from the Austrian border. The city is located around 45 km west of Maribor and 65 km northeast of Ljubljana. Found this shoemaker's shop in the old part of town. Seems he was so proud of his work, he advertised by displaying it outside, instead of a shop sign. I wondered how he dared to leave these fine shoes (with at least some years of wear in them) unguarded like that. Tried to take them, but seemed they were nailed down. So there was nothing else for me to do ... but to take the nails as well. ;-)
