They are sooo exciting. I mean they are a relatively simple form of life, aren't they? And yet they look so complex. This one was growing on a tree stem near one of the beaches in Sinemoretz, Bulgaria. It's an amazing beach that is surrounded by a dark and wet forest. I love that contrast. You can literary switch the climate in an instant. The hot dry air of the beach becomes moist and there's the weird smell of decaying leafs mixed with fresh oxygen. It's so thick that you can feel it sliding down your lungs. Unfortunately the forest gets smaller and smaller each year because of the shitty tourist industry. Now you know why I hate people who have the habit to fry their bodies on the sand. Brainless vain bastards!
