Only the image (and an oft-moved arch, now in the Arena District) of Columbus' Union Station rail depot has escaped the wrecking ball. Union Station was demolished in the dark of night in 1976 to defeat preservationists who were therefore unable to find a judge to issue an injunction. By morning it was too late.
The City is looking kind of dirtey to-day.
