This morning was my first walk to work of the season. I cheated a bit and got dropped off at Starbucks first, then walked down the galloping goose to downtown. I remembered how much I enjoy these walks. This dew drop on a blade of grass is refracting trees and the northern blue sky close to sunrise, which is why it is somewhat deep in shade.

Sunrise on the Gorge Waterway. It was cold this morning, but the roads weren't frosty. The Selkirk Trestle was something else, though. Wood is a good insulator, and the frost was a half centimetre thick! It was hard walking, let alone cycling.
