Looking Southeast, the cable-stayed suspension bridge carries Lane Avenue over the Olentangy River. A Victor Salmones sculpture in the foreground is entitled Cancer. . .there's hope. Cancer treatment is represented by the maze. (duh!) The figures' hairstyles and clothing are very 1980s. Every time I drive by this intersection I hear the voice of Pat Benitar in my head singing Fire and Ice.

After falling to No. 10 Michigan the night before, unranked OSU redeemed themselves with a fantastic comeback to win 6-5 thanks to a late goal. I have never been to a crazier game. Fighting erupted all over the ice at the end of the game. Emotions were high and OSU managed to stop a last second shot. The fighting lasted for 5-10 minutes.

So this is tiny and the quality is horrid because it was originally a small part in another photo, but I loved how it looked on it's own...so it was worth the quality loss for me. I just get a vibe of passion from this photo. It makes me smile. He's so in his own little world here.
