It's come down to this. I have no ideas left and I've resorted to posting DHB shots. Actually, I've really just avoided it. There are certain stereotypes that go along with bathroom shots especially when it comes to public restrooms. If you're a guy with a camera, in a restroom, any shutter fires or 'caught shooting' shots and you are immediately crowned a pervert. You become 'that guy'. I mean face it, there is very little conversation or eye contact for that matter when inside a men's room. The women's room on the other hand, is often rife with laughter, conversations and apparently, quite a few photos especially selfies. Some women's rooms even have couches and I'm guessing there's probably a bar and a masseuse in the more upscale locations. All kidding aside, I was attracted to the round mirror -- you don't see to many of those nowadays -- and well, quite frankly, it was deserted, and I'm especially fond of abandoned places, even more so when I know I won't be labeled 'that guy'. Yeah....it's true...I'm out of ideas.

These guys are great. But I'm really sick of what they did. First of all, I don't like the way they ask for tips-- They directly started with asking for 20-dollar tips to continue the show and then put you in a embarrassing situation so that you had to give them the 20 dollars they wanted. Plus, they played the racist card, which I hated most. Even though they are African American, it's not cool at all to joke about the Black, White, Asian and Mexican people. Second, at the day I watched their show, they said it would the last show since they would leave for Japan in 2 hrs. BUT I saw them doing exactly the same show the day after. You know most of the people are tourists, right? LIARS!

The Aquatic Park Bathhouse - a National Historic Landmark also houses the Maritime Museum and the Aquatic Park Senior Center. Outstanding example of Streamlined Moderne style. Key structure in the Aquatic Park development, one of the largest WPA projects in California. Art works good examples of federally funded art of the 1930s. The Senior Center is nationally significant as the first formal Senior Center in the US. read more here Looks a lot like a cruise ship to me

The Port of San Francisco was served by the San Francisco Belt Railway. www.abandonedrails.com/San_Francisco_Belt_Railroad This ceased operations in 1993 but the tracks and infrastructure can still be seen in part of the Embarcadero, Fort Mason, and the Aquatic Park. These old track are just north of the cable car terminus and the Aquatic park

San Francisco Fire Engine # 2, seen on Beach street near Polk. Firehouse 2 has adapted the logo of Oakland's KTVU TV channel 2, and that logo is seen on the crew door, just in back of the cab door. Taken by a Nikon D40x at ISO 400 with an 18-55mm Nikon non-VR kit lens (at 18) Cropped lightly.

Built in 1939, this former bathhouse is now a visitors center and museum for the Aquatic Park. The upper level is currently closed for renovation (I suggest checking their website for more information). An outstanding example of Art Deco architecture

This was a free sample, and such a smart idea. For the cost of a sponsor booth they provide free samples of their organic milk. The perfect drink to wash down delicious chocolates. Bravo.

They ran out of cupcakes samples only half way through the event. This was one of the longest lines that quickly dispersed and created other long lines when it closed shop.

I guess you could say I sampled a phone, but we didn't get to take anything home. Verizon and Cadillac were out in full force taking advantage of the sponsor opportunity.

This is one of the long-standing display items in the Maritime Museum, being moved out. I do not know if it will be reinstalled when the museum eventually reopens.

Designer mini cupcakes are incredibly trendy right now, as shown here by DeLise Dessert Cafe. Luckily I'm not trendy, so I didn't wait for this sweet morsel.
