Fountain of St. James Court

I discovered quite an interesting history of this area. This is one of those many instances when I wish I could stand in this spot and travel back in time 100 years... This fountain sits at the center of what was formerly the Southern Exposition which was a five year series of World's Fairs held from 1883 to 1887 in what is now the Old Louisville neighborhood. See an old map of it here. The current fountain is the second to occupy the space. The original cast-iron version was made by the Mott Foundry of Brooklyn and erected in 1892. The Fine Arts Sculpture Center in Michigan recast it in 1974. The grille work surrounding the fountain was originally the railing around the box seats at the old Strand Theater in downtown Louisville.

House

Amy stands in front of a house. And what a house! The Conrad-Caldwell House is part of the St. James-Belgravia Historic District in Louisville, which is location number 72000538 on the National Register of Historic Places. ky2-11a

Hiding

Everyone hiding from the camera! You can't see anyone's complete face, not even that chick in the background. It's like an entire wedding party of Wilson from Home Improvement. God that show sucked. ky2-9a

A Wedding Surprise

I don't know why Cynthia looks so surprised here, but Robert definitely doesn't. ky2-5a
