Ülker camii, Boğaziçi üniversitesinin Güney kampüsünün girişinin tam karşısına düşer. Kuzey, güney ve hisar kampüslerinin buluşma noktasındadır. Cami içindeki sanatlar hem güzel hem de sadedir. Aynı zamanda modern bi tarzı vardır. Güzel düşünülmüş pencerelerle bir çok yönden rahtça ışık alabilir. Özellikle minberin etrafındaki camlı yapıda bu daha iyi gözükmektedir. Kubbesindeki tatlı mavilik zamanla solmuş. Caminin terütaze zamanlarını yaşamış birisi olarak bu beni biraz üzdü. Ama küçük bir tadilat yeterli olur sanırım.

Looking down from an old graveyard on the top of the 'Bowl'. The Bowl was an ampitheatre shaped English Garden owned by Robert College just east of Istanbul. The castle walls of Rumeli Hisar castle seal off the bottom of the Bowl, like a stage in a Greek theatre of antiquity.There is the grave of a Dervish to the left of the tombstonein the picture. It has a tree planted in the center of it which is convered with small strips of cloth tied to the its branches by people who believe in that Dervish.

A view of Rumeli Hisar castle from an English Garden at Robert College nicknamed the 'Bowl' because it is shaped like an ampitheatre. The castle walls of Rumeli Hisar castle seal off the bottom of the Bowl, like a stage in a Greek theatre of antiquity. When he was about 3, my brother Tom told me that God lives in the 'Bowl'. 'The God in the Bowl' is one of Robert E. Howards most well known Conan stories. Restored 02/10/07
