Adding this to my faves - not for comp, dof or anything like that because it's not a great shot in many respects. I just love it because having a hotel room right on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu for 3 nights was one of the most fabulous experiences ever. It brings back many happy memories of my first few days as Matt's wife :) Also, learning to surf there was a-mazing!

I so wanted to say I'd surfed on Waikiki Beach. Neither of us had ever tried surfing before so booked a lesson. It was great fun although so so so so tiring! Here are the results that follow....

...It was amazing to see this coming into land - that lovely curved area of white sand is the world famous Waikiki Beach. Honolulu is to the left of the picture.
