I was driving home one night (in Montreal) when I was passed by a scrap metal collector in his beat-up pick-up truck doing about 90 (that's 90 km/h for you Americans) in the city streets. Even though it was dark I spotted the writing on the sign in the back of the truck and I thought that must be an old delivery bike! and gave chase. I think I gave the driver a bit of a scare matching him lane change for lane change for a 1/4 length of the city trying not to lose him - and trying not to get a ticket! I finally caught up and was able to pull beside him at a red light (in a rough part of the city) and still got him to roll his window down. I don't speak French. The scrap collector didn't speak English. Somehow I negotiated the release of the bike and I happily paid him twice his asking price of $5. He seemed to be concerned to emphasize that there was no crank and that the bike couldn't be used! lol. Here it is, exactly as I found it.

Those birds are free in Nature not in a bird house. I did made a bird house with many layers in photoshop and it felt like it was full of LOVE ♥♥♥♥ ;))) The greens and the branch come from branchs of trees and a house plant fern that was in full sun. And also a fence that I did distord with photoshop. I did look at those two birds for some time at the top of a tree. The left one was always taking care of the right one. Like checking on him time to time. It seems to me they did make a nice couple ♥♥♥♥;)) After a while my neck was hurting I look somewhere else and oups they were gone to another somewhere ! It was cold that day but Love and warm was there on that branch ♥♥♥♥ !! View On Black It has been so cold outside... Heating is up, but I still feel like in a cold prison. I love being out, but this is seriously ridiculous!!! Am i getting old? Maybe just a bit more wussy... It's been eight weeks since I last set foot in the climbing gym...I went back this week, climbing my own walls is not a good idea, and 8 feet is very limiting! Hope the elbow tendinitis is over, not sure the monkey in me can take this much longer! Strobist: SB-800 on light stand with grid and CTO gel, aimed at arm/face. SB-600 with diffuser dome bare, shooting upward. SB-800 above camera, SB-600 on the floor in front of camera.

Red variegated foliage and pure yellow flowers. Yumm. [update - originally mis-ID'd as Neoregelia 'Maya'] This is a fairly large-flowered one. Kicked out of the Yellow Flowers group for being a 'multi-colored flower'. I appealed and was told the flower isn't the focal point of the photo. Hmmm.
