I had half an hour on my own in Rijeka, Croatia. Time to find my stranger #99. It wasn't long before I spotted this girl passing by. My Croatian is not quite as „basic“ as my French, but that doesn't really mean anything. However, I thought this pretty girl was perfect for giving it a try – if she agreed, it would be easy, and if she didn't, it would be clear from the beginning. I took a deep breath and caught up with her. She asked about the Project and I explained as good as could. Again, my cards came in very handy, because with the flickr address on it it wasn't too hard to explain what I was gonna use the photo for. Sanda agreed and I took two quick shots when she already began moving – she laughed and told me that was enough, all the people around were looking at us. So let them look, I said, but Sanda wasn't comfortable and that was the end of the shooting – which is a little regrettable as her smile broadened and was very nice. Sanda is currently studying and she told me just a little bit about herself – unfortunately, I didn't understand anything. I felt uneasy about that, so our conversation stayed brief. Here's a song for you. Currently addicted to it (: Slipknot - Vermilion Well hello. First post in July. Dude, July already. Time really does fly. Well anyway, I'm much better than I was in the last post (: No move fever and shit. YAY. So my friend Iva came @ my place today. So this is her :D I really love this shots to be honest. It's kinda weird, you know. Because I never quite like my work. People tell me it's good, and I say thanks but I never really find anything special in my shots. This time is different. I came up with the idea of doing this main photo a few days ago, and I always imagine my shots to be perfect. But they never really are. Until today. Those shots are perfect for me because of two reasons; 1. This is my best friend, you know? (: And she is a great model as you can see. 2. I finally managed to make my photos look vintage. The pastel tones and that.. And one more thing. I miss my friend Andrea. Too much. We haven't seen each other in three years. If she just lived in our city, she would probably be on those photos too. <3 love.

Hey. I'm sick. For the second time in the last 13 days. I have a really bad type of sinusitis and my cheeks & teeth hurt and I think my head is about to explode. I got some antibiotics and they should help me, but I can't go to the beach in for week. I think I'm going to melt, seriously haha. And my parents are away from home, so I was really supposed to enjoy this week but it turned into some really painful days. But oh well, at least now I have some time to search for a job & organize my computer a little bit because I hate using it when I don't know where the documents I need are. So I took like 2OOO photos in the last two weeks. I love how inspired I feel on holidays, that's just great isn't it? (: And I might go to China next year if my grades will be okay. YAY! :D Christiano Ronaldo: - God sent me to earth to show people how to play football. Lionel Messi: -I never sent anybody! hahahha. it's obvious I'm on the side of Spain in the today's match (: I hate CR btw. love.

Hello Flickr people. It has been a while since my last upload. I went away for the summer and I had no internet connection so I had to upload through my mobile. Than, somewhere in the middle of my summer my laptop just died so I couldn't edit the photos or anything. I came back home, and than my camera died too. I couldn't use it for like a month and even more. WORST MONTH OF MY LIFE. And I fixed it today, so here's my first upload after 51 day. Meanwhile, school started and as you can see, my 52 weeks project died. I'm so sorry for it, and for me, because it was the first time I actually started doing something and I really had the intention to finish it. I might start a new one, but we'll see. Again, I've been going through some old photos and found this one, taken from the 11th floor of the Neboder Hotel (Neboder = Skyscraper) in Rijeka, showing the city center. It was taken with the Peleng I borrowed from a friend - it turned to be quite a fun using it. I didn't want to fix the perspective in PS, this is more fun. :) I did play with other settings, though. Due locomotive del Gruppo croato 1061 attendono il loro turno di lavoro nella piccola rimessa di Rijeka (Fiume). L'unità 016 ha le cabine risanate in stile E656, mentre la 104 presenta ancora le linee tipiche delle locomotive poliedriche italiane da cui deriva. Two Croatian 1061 locomotives are waiting to work in the depot of Rijeka. The unit 016 has a new desing for the cabins, instead the unit 104 still keeps the old type.

good morning. today is going to be a tough day. latin, art, music and biology exams. but thank god i have school in the afternoon so i can chill a little bit, although i'm freaking out because of all the studying and stuff. too many exams, and not enough time. i seriously feel like i'm getting asocial because all i do is STUDY. i'm tired and i really need holidays. wish me luck today!

Now he seems happy and very active, although he still got the cataracts, but he is spinning the wheel and running over his cage like he is used to. He doesn't look dizzy and his balance is normal. I'm so happy about it. Thank you my friends, your good thoughts and prayers made him feel better.

It was a great feeling to walk empty streets in Rijeka. Those that weren't blocked by all the masquerading groups, of course. This year's Rijeka's carnival parade was, I would say, the biggest I've seen so far. Also, it was held on a beautiful sunny day. Canon AE-1 DM Paradies 400

Me and my friend went yesterday to an old factory. The factory actually made the first torpedo ever. It's sad, because this place was once a giant, and now it's in ruins. But it's a good place to take pictures though. My friend Iva is my human tripod. <3 I love her.

Few years ago, we went driving - just for fun. We took two Belgian hitchhikers who were trying to get to Rijeka (city in nearby of Crikvenica, 37 km distance). We took them to see the castle of Trsat which is really spectacular and old. This is a detail :)
