This is a slightly northwest view from our 15th floor room at the Renaissance Hotel. Most of Vancouver is littered with both insanely tall blue-glass skyscrapers and construction. The dark pit is probably the site of a future skyscraper addition to the city.

We don't get views like this on the Ottawa-to-Sudbury flights. This was taken about 25 minutes before landing in Vancouver. I believe it to be Mount Baker. I usually don't like out the plane window shots, but this one is not too shabby.
