Ramnagar is a city and a municipal board in Varanasi (Benares) district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The 17th century Ramnagar fort, lying across river Ganga beyond Asi Ghat, has was during 400 years and is still the residence of the maharajas of Varanasi. The king is known as Kashinaresh means king of Kashi(Ancient name of Beneras). Unfortunately it is now in a state of dispair but it's nice to enjoy the view of the city from there. From the original picture that I shot one evening in january I decided to change the sky for something dramatic and then to colour the walls like one of my favorite temple on the other bank of the river.

The oldest living city in the world> This is a picture of a man whome I met in Ramnagar Fort where the Maharajas of Varanasi (Benaras) are living since 400 years. The museum here is.......even you pay me, I would not to visit the museum again. The only meaning for me to visit this fort is I cross the Ganges river. Nothing else. But.... Bunti aur Babli ！！！ (If you know the Hindi Movie！）
