RAAF Base Townsville

RAAF Base Townsville (Formerly RAAF Base Garbutt) is, along with RAAF Tindal and RAAF Darwin, one of northern Australia's primary defence installations. It also provides a focal point for the local Australian Air Force Cadets (No.1) Wing, and, along with Lavarack Barracks, establishes Townsville as a key northern stronghold.
