RAAF Base Amberley
RAAF Base Amberley is a Royal Australian Air Force base that is located 8 km southwest of Ipswich, Queensland and 50 km southwest of Brisbane, Queensland and currently home to No. 1 & No. 6 Squadron RAAF (operating the F-111's,) No. 36 Squadron (operating the Boeing Built C-17 Globemaster III jet transport) and No. 38 Squadron RAAF (operating the DHC-4 Caribou) and also home to RAAF Amberley's largest squadron in terms of size: No. 23 (City of Brisbane) Squadron, an Active Reserve Squadron of the Royal Australian Air Force.Top photos chosen by u all:
