Roosevelt Island Tramway

The Roosevelt Island Tramway was born in 1976 to take residents to and from Manhattan. It travels at certain points parallel to the Queensboro Bridge, linking Long Island City, Queens, and 59th Street in Manhattan. This makes it the same age as me! Roosevelt Island is a great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and take a moment to reflect on its size. The tramway is also a great way to get there! Although, watch out if the Green Goblin is about - the tram was attacked by Spiderman's nemesis at the end of the first Spiderman movie in 2002.
