i always liked this retro-looking tower on the pulaski drawbridge. it marks the midpoint between brooklyn and queens over the creek. i used this impromptu photoshoot with it to distract myself the other day when the G train was totally dead and i had to walk home from queens because the bus stops were overrun with disgruntled commuters. bigger!

Long Island City and Manhattan, as seen from the Pulaski Bridge between Brooklyn (Greenpoint) and Queens (L.I.C.) at sunset, obvs. I've often found myself walking across the bridge to the 7 train when it's nice out and I don't feel like waiting underground for the G train to take me to the transfer.
