The woman brige was Inagurated on august 24, 2001. Is a peatonal bridge El “Puente de la Mujer” se inauguró el 24 de agosto del 2001. Este puente, peatonal y giratorio de 97 mts de largo y 5 de ancho, cruza el dique 3 en la continuación del eje de la Av. de Mayo, uniendo Puerto Madero con Puerto Madero Este, las dos urbanizaciones construidas a uno y otro lado de los diques. Su nombre tiene estrecha relación con la zona, ya que todas las calles de Puerto Madero llevan el nombre de mujeres célebres en un claro homenaje, de Alberto González, para resaltar la labor femenina en la sociedad. La obra fue diseñada por el arquitecto español Santiago Calatrava - especialista en este tipo de construcciones – y donado por Alberto González, presidente de Madero Este Holding y ex dueño de Imagen Satelital e inversor de Hilton Buenos Aires.
